Behavioural Optometry for All Ages
Although the majority of our patients taking advantage of our speciality behavioural optometry services are children, we believe that patients of all ages can benefit from a behavioural optometry approach as it is not only children who deserve to have a visual system working to its highest level of efficiency.
Those with eye motor control problems, lazy eye, developmental delays, acquired brain injuries, delays in learning to read or problems reading to learn might benefit from this more holistic approach to vision care.

Our 2 optometrists have between them decades of combined clinical experience.Principal Jennifer Currie has served the Sunshine Coast region for more than 27 years. Optometrist Kate Weller recently joined the team in early June 2020 as Heather McLeod transitioned into retirement. Kate has brought with her the fresh enthusiasm & insights of an early career optometrist.
Our senior support staff, Ray Smith & Verinia White are both fully qualified Optical Dispensers who can assist you with all your eyewear needs, providing expert advice on frames and lenses. Janaya Saxon joined us at the beginning of 2021 with several years of practical experience in Optical Dispensing under her belt and we are pleased to be supporting Janaya as she is now working towards acheiving her formal Optical Dispensing qualifications.
We are pleased to introduce Stefanie Lawton who is our newest team member joining us in a part-time support role. Stef has years of experience in optics having worked in both private and coorporate optometric practices.
All of our team continually update their knowledge base and clinical skills by attending seminars and workshops and, more recently, by necessity online Webinars throughout the year.
